What is CSET? The Cybersecurity Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the Idaho National Laboratory (INL) develop the Cyber Security Evaluation Tool (CSET®) for asset owners with the primary objective of reducing the risk to the nation’s critical infrastructure.
For 16 years, the Workshop on Cyber Security Experimentation and Test (CSET) has been an important and lively space for presenting research on and discussing “meta” cybersecurity topics related to reliability, validity, reproducibility, transferability, ethics, and scalability—in practice, in research, and in education.
The Cyber Security Evaluation Tool (CSET®) is a free stand-alone desktop application that systematically guides asset owners and operators through evaluating operational and information technology.
CSET '24 is held on Tuesday August 13, the day before USENIX Security starts. We hope that CSET attendees will also attend USENIX Security, and encourage you to register for USENIX Security soon as well, as it sold out last year.
