Got Rid of all files in %temp% and now my computer is playing up.
Got Rid of all files in %temp% and now my computer is playing up. Well i read somthing that hinted that deleting files in %temp% was a good way to increase FPS in a game i was playing, after further research it seemed that it was safe to delete all the files which i did.

Game FPS capped at 60 Solved - Windows 10 Forums
It seems like that setting is pretty obscure and it's hard to find any info about it. :/ Had the same problem, out of nowhere just fps started being capped at 60, your trick helped. Funny that the same issue appeared bac 3 years later. Running windows 10 1909 with the latest updates installed.

Is it worth enabling High Performance Power Plan on a desktop PC?
It makes no difference other than increase power consumption somewhat. The main objective of the Power Plans is to save power on a Laptop or anything that runs off a battery. The turbo frequency of the CPU is the same max frequency as in the standard Balanced plan, and when required that kicks in automatically which is what you wanted anyway.
