Miter Saw - laser vs shadow line? | The International Association of ...
Hi Jeff, I have a Bosch saw that came with no laser or light. I added an aftermarket laser because it didn't require any modifications. I used it initially, but have since pretty much stopped (after the battery died). I considered adding a shadow line light, but haven't figured out any kind of mounting system yet. Although I haven't used one yet, I think the shadow line would be my preference ...

Shadow box | The International Association of Penturners
I finished this shadow box for a friend of mine that's retiring in a week or so. I delivered it this morning, he's very happy with it! I also made him a pen from Honduran Mahogony, and had it engraved by Mike and Jen. He at first said he couldn't accept it, until I said he didn't have a...

Lynn's Floating Pen - The International Association of Penturners
Here is a brief tutorial for adding a drop shadow using Jasc Paint Shop Pro version 8. It turned out to be a 12 step program for some reason. Step 1: Photograph your pen using a high contrast solid background. A sheet of white paper works well for many pens. Download image to your computer and open with PSP 8. Step 2: Adjust photo brightness as ...

T-Shadow vs Benson Pace rotary jig for NEJE Master
T Shadow makes one and so does Benson Pace. I need it to be accurate enough to make multiple passes if I need more depth. Does anybody have any experience with either of these. I know that Nancy who is a member here is the rep for Pace and am awaiting a PM from her.

Drilling Antlers - The International Association of Penturners
A neat trick is to mount the piece in question between centers, and spin it at med speed and look down at it, you will be able to see a "shadow" of the solid parts as it spins, the narrowest part of that shadow is the maximum size cylinder you can turn from that piece USING THOSE CENTERS. Move the centers around to maximize the size of the shadow.

According to the Reference Chart for T Shadow (on page 5), AZ Carbide indicates their Standard Size Dia10r for a Diamond Cutter Radiused ends and their Standard Size Dia10s for the Diamond Cutter with Sharp ends.
