Juan Soto would like to see Pete Alonso back in a Mets uniform next season. Speaking with reporters at the MLB Awards in Las Vegas, Soto addressed the fact that Alonso is hitting free agency this offseason after opting out of a one-year, $24 million contract option with the Mets.
Naylor helped the Mariners win the AL West and make a run to Game 7 of the ALCS before falling to the Blue Jays. He went 10-for-24 in the series and slashed .340/392/.574 in the playoffs with three home runs and five RBIs.
On Tuesday, ESPN reporter Jeff Passan gave an update on where things stand for Alonso, along with possible suitors for the 30-year-old.
